May is a nice time to visit California. It's starting to get hot in Austin, while the Bay Area is cool as always. Given the excuse of the first birthday of our first grandchild, we jumped at the opportunity. As the timing coincided with the annual gathering of the Baker Boys, in Sausalito this year, we had an added incentive.
We arrived just in time to see Kai take his first steps, an event we managed to catch on video.
Of course, we had a party, which Kai didn't exactly get the point of, but enjoyed nonetheless.
