On our first day in St. Croix, we drove to the west end of the island to take advantage of a wildlife preserve that was open only on the weekends. The preserve proved to be mostly a deserted beach. Charles, ever the eagle-eye, spotted this small crab and caught him for the camera. The crab appeared to be the same as those we've seen many times in Galveston.
