We spotted this cute lizard while walking the dog on Tiel Way last March. They are quite common in Houston, frequently appearing on the window screens, sometimes getting into the house. These are often called chameleons, because they can change slowly to a brown color if they are on the appropriate background. Real chameleons are found in Africa, especially Madagascar, and rock bands.
