About this photo:I snapped this picture during a break in the Austin Christmas Bird Count. We showed an old Rice friend, Bobby Hughes, the mysteries of the Hornsby Bend Greenhouse. This spider was located where all the Phlocus species spiders hang out, in a set of messy webs on the wall of the greenhouse. This one managed to catch a ladybug, which it is wrapping up for dinner sometime later. |
