A kind of jumping spider

About this photo:

After taking several photos of this spider, I was surprised to see him turn around and face me, as though he planned to atack. I love this photo showing the huge eyes on the front of the face. He does look threatening, doesn't he? He is not nearly so large as he appears in this photo.

Based on photos in Spiders & Scorpions of Texas, we can even identify this as a male.
