About this photo:The roads in Bhutan require special skills, especially if you're handling a bus loaded with about 20 people. According to one source, there is a curve every 9 seconds. I calculated our average speed as 20 km/hr. Our estimable driver, Wamdi, felt the need to add some extra protection to the bus in the form of traditional Bhutanese symbols of strength, virility, etc. |
