This tiny spider (about 1/4 inch legs and all) was crawling around on our kitchen counter. It is probably a very young spider, which explains the lack of color on the abdomen, etc.

A correspondent on the web thinks it is some kind of Jumping Spider, such as the common Phiddipus audax.
