Perhaps the World's Most Beautiful Airport

About this photo:

The airport in Paro sits on the only land that seems to provide a long enough level strip for a runway. This is the only airport in the country. The buildings, all decorated in traditional Bhutanese fashion, provide a fabulous introduction for visitors.

Jim found two signs inside amusing:

  1. Visitors are requested to pay visa fees inside.
  2. Pay Visa Fee Here.

The first is probably intended for Brits; the second for Americans.
