Two more friends invited to Thanksgiving Day, Jason and Rafi, sip wine while waiting for the cooks to finish dinner. This year, we took a shortcut and ordered most of the dinner, but we still took the time to cook Squash and Granny Smith Apple soup, a staple of the feast since we discovered the recipe four years ago.
