About this photo:Yes, it is really garlic, as you can determine by smelling the juice from the stem. We've never eaten the root of this plant, but we have sampled its close relative, Wild Onion (Alium canadanensis), which is quite tasty. Note the two small bugs on the flowers. Yet another drummondii. |
