These were common at Hornsby Bend, flying around the margins of Pond 1 West. Getting a photo of one, though, proved difficult. They frequently seemed to simply disappear into the weeds, to emerge a short time later. Finally, I managed to find one clinging to the weed in the typical vertical posture darners are known for. |
