At the Mendecino Coast Botanical Gardens
First, the Big News: Claire and Ron are expecting again, with delivery scheduled for June, 2013. Their current abode, a 2BR, 1Bath condo seemed a little small, so they have bought a new place in the Portrero Hill area of San Francisco. Although not much larger, the new condo has 3 bedrooms and 2½ baths, a major improvement. It is within walking distance of AT&T Park, where the Giants will try to repeat as World Series Champs.
With rents in San Francisco reaching the ionosphere, they plan to rent the old place.
Meanwhile, the Philo abode, Rancho Relaxo, continues to just get better. The latest addition is a hot tub, much appreciated by Nana. We gathered in Mendocino county to celebrate Linda's birthday, including a trip to the fabulous Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden. We discovered this lovely spot when we spent The Fourth of July Weekend in Fort Bragg several years ago (2005 to be precise). We walked out to the end, where the gardens overlook the mighty Pacific, where we took photos.

When not traveling, Claire practices Pediatric Anesthesia at Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, CA, same as last year.
Ron still works at a day job, with Advent Software, while waiting for his band to catch a break.
