Purple Haze at Year's End
Ron and Claire, as reported last year, decided to remodel Purple Haze by finishing the second floor, adding two bedrooms and a much needed second bathroom. As you can see, the work is nearing completion. The result is a nice house, suitable for permanent living, not just a long weekend. Unfortunately, that will have to wait for a few years.
We all returned to for the Mendocino County Fair again this year. The Merry-go-round is now considered too tame for Scarlet, who moved on to the little car ride. She seems to be worried about Nico.

When not traveling, Claire practices Pediatric Anesthesia at Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, CA, same as last year.
Ron still works at a day job, with Advent Software, while waiting for his band to catch a break.
