We start with head shots of two grandchildren. Kiera was having a great time with an old stump found floating in the river. Here, it almost looks as if she if being decapitated by the log.

Nico changed the most over the course of the year, and not only in the number of teeth he has. On the last day of 2014, he helped his grandad take Chipper for a walk at Rancho Relaxo. Scarlet can be coquettish, mugging for the camera when she knows she's being photographed.

As usual, Amy crafted some amazing costumes for Halloween. Both Kai and Kiera are avid Minecraft aficionados. Naturally, that is the costume both wanted. Hard to make? Not a bit.

Our final two photos show what happens at the Point Isabel Dog Park when you aren't paying attention. We looked around and both kids had disappeared. Their calls alerted us to the new location.
