Charles and Amy
Charles and Amy have reached that awkward age where all the photos are of the grandkids instead of them.
Charles continues to work as an archivist/librarian for the National Center for Science Education (NCSE). This is the group that fights the Discovery Institute and others who don't want evolution taught in public schools. Amy has a very demanding job as a nurse midwife and women's health care nurse practitioner.
They did manage a vacation this year after Linda and Jim agreed to keep the kids for a week. We admit to a slight amount of apprehension, but it turned out to be pure joy. While we stayed in California, Charles and Amy decamped to Belize, where they spent a week diving. Charles showed that he has a talent for underwater photos. We particularly like this one.
